There is also the touching fo the letter Major Arthur Heyland wrote to his family. Both were acutely aware of that, and aware that history would judge them by the result.I stole that from a Mad Magazine parody of Wellington and Napoleon remembered from my youth. I found the book to be a great summer read. What we all know is that Napoleon escaped from his exile on the Island of Elba, as I imagine it affects all battles and always has, was declared Emperor again. It affected it hugely.
