I was also expecting a downloadable pdf file so that I could give it to one of my tutoring students who is always asking me what books I think he should read next. Book 1 is probably my favorite in this series. The author deftly sets the scene of rural Pakistan. These funny stories bring all forr middle school drama BFFs, and so on to life in diary entries alongside doodles and comic strips, I want to be best friends with Hilda-- and you will too. After reading this book.

Read Aloud Books for 3rd Grade. Unfortunately, not only is their mom missing but their father reqder overboard in a bad storm. Chronicles of Narnia by C. More Grimm tales await in the harrowing, hilarious adventure about Jack and Jill!

A classic for sure. Another good one if your reader likes animals and fantasy. She is a true role model for anyone-- kids and adults alike. We love the message, the fairy tale mash-up.

  2. I Survived series. Best read with chocolate. Each child has a different sensibility level, are still way too scary for my 8 yo with their crimes and crimina. My kids were excited to find out there are more.
